Frequently asked questions

Which series is best for neonates with the 8500? 6000CN and 7000N offer gentle cloth/micro-foam for neonates (<2 kg), ensuring comfort and hygiene during 8500 spot checks.

Why choose 6500 Durafoam? Its adhesive-free foam simplifies application for adults/pediatrics in homecare, reducing irritation for extended 8500 use, but it’s less suited for neonates.

Are there disposable ear sensors? No, 6000C/6500/7000 are for finger/toe/foot/hand. For ears, use the reusable 8000Q2 with 8500.
