Truly helpful for oxygen monitoring February 13, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Los Altos, CA United States   This hand held pulse oximeter does the job of getting an accurate reading of oxygen saturation on a person who cannot use finger tip version.  However how to use it is not intuitive & how to store/retrieve the data required several calls to customer service since the instruction guide is poorly written. Clearer instructions on how best to use this device would be extremely helpful. I hope the company will provide that in the future. Also it would be so helpful for older patients with limited mobility to have a way to clip the device onto a belt so the readout would be there/ easy to access. Now, you have to put it in a pocket or pouch & take it out to see the display. I think it should be easy to add a secure clip or some way to attach the device to something you can see, so you don't always have to reach into your pocket to get it.  Minor things perhaps, but considering the price point, I expected them and was disappointed that they aren't there. Wrong model May 29, 2018 Reviewer: Silvio Guimaraes from Miami, FL United States   I didn't receive an answer up 'till now. Dear Sirs, good afternoon. After consulting your sales department through "contact us", I bought a Nonin Palmsat 2500 Hand Held Pulse device on March 12 of this year, believing that it had an alarm. For health reasons we could only open the package on the 10th of this month and since then we have tried to figure out how the alarm was triggered but we could not. Reading the manual of the received device, we have seen that this model does not have the alarm. Only the Model 2500A has an alarm. In this case, we would like to know if you can change this device to another with the alarm, of course paying the difference. Was this review helpful to you?
